No one with any taste in the Bay Area gives a hoot about what New Yorkers think about anything, particularly resturants. Let's face it New York is over, has been since the early 90's and only the most arrogant and ignorant of people still consider NYC the greatest city in the US. Please, NYC's a trash bin in comparision to San Francisco, Chicago, and Miami.- Is follow up to post by dsmith1 ...
As New York City foodies, we don't get excited about too many restaurants anymore. We hosted a dinner at Aqua on 2/2/04, and it was PERFECT. I would rate it as the best restaurant (food, presentation, preparation, unique combinations, decor, service, wine list) in the U.S. outside N.Y.C.
